About Knockin
An ATS resume checker & optimizer that helps job seekers pass machine screening.
What is Knockin
Knockin is an ATS resume checker and optimizer that helps job seekers get past machine screening. Statistics show over 75% of resumes are filtered out by ATS (Applicant Tracking System) before a human ever sees them — often not for lack of ability, but because of missing keywords, incompatible formatting, or messy structure.
Upload a resume and get a free ATS score: keyword match rate, formatting score, and item-by-item structure issues, with actionable suggestions. On top of that, Knockin offers AI optimization drafts and an archivable deep diagnostic report (item-by-item diagnosis + rewrite examples + keyword gap analysis).
The goal is simple: make your resume readable by machines first, memorable to humans next.
FAQ
QHow does the ATS check work?
AA rule engine checks keyword match against a pasted JD, formatting conventions (contact info / section structure / timeline), and content quality in about 30 seconds. Pure rule-based scoring is stable and reproducible — the same resume always gets the same score.
QIs my resume data safe?
AYour resume is used only to produce your score and the report you purchased. It is never shared or used for model training, and you can delete records anytime in "My Resumes".
QWhat's in the deep report, and how do I download it?
AItem-by-item issue diagnosis, rewrite examples, and keyword gap analysis, archived as PDF. Permanently available after purchase with unlimited downloads from the result page.
QHow do I buy? What about refunds?
AThe check/combo packs require login (quota credits your account, valid long-term); the deep report is purchased on the result page. Deliverables are generated automatically after payment; failed deliveries are auto-refunded — contact support for other refund questions.
QWhich resume formats are supported?
APDF / DOC / DOCX files (≤5MB, ≤10 pages), or paste resume text directly. Optionally paste the target job description for more precise keyword matching.
QHow do I interpret the score?
ATotal score = format × 40% + content × 60%. 90+ (A+) ready to send; 80-89 good with minor fixes; 60-79 needs optimization; below 60 — fix keywords and structure item by item before applying.
